It’s all about the Sin Cities of the 21st century. The Roaring Twenties were wild with naughty cabaret and  feverish decadence. But what do Sin Cities look like today? We are  challenging filmmakers all over the world to capture the influence of  present-day Sin Cities on culture and everyday life, on personal dreams,  secret longings and mortal fears. An acclaimed jury of hit songwriters,  academy award winners and nominees, film and music  video directors,  actors, record label and film executives will decide on  the finalists  and winners of the Jury Award. Centre Pompidou - Hors pistes 2011 

The  Hors Pistes film festival offers a showcase of unique and  innovative  video works, films that move away from traditional genres to  blend  fiction with contemporary art, documentary and experimental  formats.Hors  Pistes presents two sections. First section: more than  30 screenings  exploring trends in contemporary visual creation. Second  section: a  thematic exhibition– this year, this theme is SPORT.The festival, which is non competitive, will be held in 2011, January 21st to February 06th, at the Centre Pompidou, Paris.SUBMISSIONSCareful.   Distinguish between the section ‘screenings’ and the section   ‘exhibition’: the requirements for the works are different. • Section one: screenings. Any international 20-65 minute length work completed after January 2009 is eligible for entry.•  Section two: a thematic exhibition on SPORT.
